Geyser seem to burst at the most inopportune moments like the middle of the night; on weekends and while you are on holiday. If you do have a burst geyser and water is streaming from the ceiling, the best advice is to:
- Switch off the geyser switch on the main distribution board.
- Turn off the water. (Most homes have a stopcock fitted to the inlet side of the geyser.)
- Call Cornerstone and/ or your local plumber who will be able to advise you further.
- If you are planning to go on holiday, remember to switch off your geyser/s while you are away. This prevents you from having a nasty surprise on your return.
